Just another brick in the wall
According to reports, the Republican National Committee is funding an organization that is going state to state, registering voters.
Sounds like a great idea, except the organization is destroying the Democrat registrations and only submitting the Republican registrations. So hundreds of likely Democrat voters will show up at the polls in Nevada, Arizona, Oregon only to find out that the registrations they completed were never filed.

That is a shame. I am a registered Democrat that has voted for the Republican candidate in every Presidential election. Oh well.
Also, don't think that the democratic machine hasn't pulled tricks like this in the past, present, or future. For awhile, the joke about democrat elections were, vote early, vote often.
I'm not yet deluded enough to think that voting scams aren't or haven't been pulled for the benefit of the Dems. But clearly, the depth and level of organization evident in the GOP deception is remarkable. It seems to be a major part of their election strategy.
Howevah (ala, steve smith)...Howevah...I think that it happens to this degree on both sides but the Reps just got caught A) b/c of the liberal bias in the media and B) the media will always expose wrongdoings of Reps. or spin it to look like that.
This is politics and it happens on all levels (except maybe AG school board - not bright enough with the current administration...what happened to the good old days of school board members...mr. G is the only thing holding that together)
The 'liberal media' is largely a myth. I'm not saying there aren't liberals in the media, just as their are conservatives. I will even concede that there are more liberals than conservatives in the media. However, with a few notable exceptions, environmental issues being the one that comes to mind, the media does not impart a liberal bias. To assert that it does is entirely illogical when you consider who OWNS the media. Unless you think that GE, Disney, FOX, and Viacom are either liberal corporations or would allow their news divisions to subvert their own interests. Think about it.
Howevah...that does not say that your the way one reports the news can be one sided. I'm saying from experience...I have a mass media minor. In our news writing classes we had an assignment to take a story off the AP wire and write it from a conservative point of view (at that time making pres. clinton look bad) and a liberal pov (making him look good). It's all how one spins the facts. Fox News and the NY Post (thanks Rupert!) are one of few noted conservative media outlets, no matter how they try to say they are fair and balanced. what cracks me up is when you read things in the paper (particularly the HS or PG) and it has a spin on a story that definitely favors one candidate or another. report the facts, that's all. leave opinions for the op ed page.
